If your bike is stolen, don't panic. Nearly all bikes have GPS tracking, so recovery is often possible. Your subscription includes theft protection, and your maximum out-of-pocket is your $500 security deposit.
Do these two things right away
1. Report the theft — see below for who to contact. The sooner it's reported, the sooner GPS recovery can start.
2. File a police report with your local police. Keep the report number and any documentation they give you.
Be ready to share when and where the theft happened, and whether the provided lock was in use.
Who to report it to
If your local shop manages your subscription Contact your shop right away. They'll coordinate next steps, including working with GPS tracking to attempt recovery.
If Friiway manages your subscription Report it to Friiway right away. We'll coordinate recovery and work with you on what happens to your subscription.

Important reminders
Use your lock. Proper use of the lock provided with your subscription is required for theft protection to apply. See Lock & Security Best Practices.
Act quickly. Report the theft and file the police report as soon as you discover it.
Document everything. Photos of where the bike was locked, the state of the lock, and anything else that might be relevant.
