Getting started is simple. Here's what the process looks like from start to ride.
Step 1: Find your bike
Browse available e-bikes on friiway.com or head to your local Friiway retailer to see them in person. We always recommend a test ride — it's the best way to find the bike that fits your life. The shop team can walk you through the options and help you decide.
Step 2: Subscribe
Friiway subscriptions are month-to-month — no long-term contracts. Your subscription includes everything you need: maintenance, theft and damage protection, roadside assistance, and a high-quality lock.
You pay for your first month at sign-up, and there's a two-month minimum to get started. After that, you can cancel any time. See How Your Subscription Works for more.
Step 3: Your shop sets up your bike
Once you've chosen your bike and plan, your local Friiway retailer gets to work. They'll recommend and install accessories based on how you plan to ride — commuting, hauling kids and groceries, or weekend exploring. The bike is tuned, fitted, and ready before it reaches you.
Step 4: New bike day
This is the fun part. Most riders collect their bike from the shop, and the team gives you a full walkthrough — how the pedal assist works, how to charge the battery, how to use your lock, and anything else you need to feel confident on your first ride. Ask all the questions you want.
Some employer programs include delivery, bringing the bike to your home or workplace instead. If you're riding through a program, check your program's article in this Help Center.
Your billing cycle starts the day you get your bike.
What happens after that?
You ride. That's it.
Your shop handles maintenance for normal wear and tear at no extra cost. You can swap to a different bike if you want. If you decide to buy, a portion of what you've paid can go toward a new e-bike — see Applying Subscription Credit Toward a Purchase. And if it's not for you, you can cancel any time after your minimum commitment.
